
the world is full of wellness offers, self-help tips, and rather turned into self-optimization. and even though i have meditated every morning for years i didn’t master mindfullness.
there’s so many thoughts i feel out of control of: from ‘do i have everything?’ when leaving the house to ‘how can we solve climate change?’. it’s heavy baggage i carry day in day out. i can’t just lay on the couch, do nothing and relax. my mind is full. constantly.
but the worst of it: when i describe these traits to neurotypical people, they don’t understand, give me advice or even tell me ‘to just think less’. and i feel like I’m a failure. all my life.
identifying as neurodivergent, and being a graphic designer i decided to harness my visual skills to inform people about neurodivergence. to help different brain wirings, like adhd and autsim, be understood, and affected people finally being seen and heard.
