poster for tomorrow announced the 14th edition of their poster competition: ‘what is dignity?’ is now officially open.
everyone has the right to dignity, as it’s embedded in the universal declaration of human rights.
everyone has their own interpretation of dignity, it might be self-respect, fairness, or doing the right thing.
but what’s clear is, that any violation of a human right, whether it’s the right to healthcare, education, or work, affects our dignity. dignity is what makes us human, and connects us to each other. it is at the heart of human spirit.
in the face of the violence, hatred and human rights violations occurring worldwide, poster for tomorrow makes a call for dignity. join in reminding the world that we all have the right to dignity – for ourselves and each other.
call for entries closing july 20th
